Orbs as Lens Flare

Lens flare orbs are wonder of light and technological magic!! Often they give the image an ethereal look. We would not be alive without sun energy and now, through our cameras we can see this beauty and magic of light and may also intuit these orbs as messengers of hope, love and joy.

Lens flare orbs are often seen in photographs taken into the sun, this is a description from Wikipedia, The Free Encyclopedia:

"Visible artifacts, usually in the shape of the lens iris, are formed when light follows a pathway through the lens that contains one or more reflections from the lens surfaces.....Most commonly, this occurs when shooting into the sun (when the sun is in frame or the lens is pointed in the direction of the sun), and is reduced by using a lens hood or other shade."

Digital phone cameras also have their own type of lens flare orbs, which I have found from my own phone camera photographs, as well as in those that people have sent to me or posted to this page. They mostly appear as a very small bright orb, sometimes green and often with another 'half moon' area of light around them.
