As a passionate photographer of orbs I want to report book - author Lexene Burns, ORB INSIGHTS AND INSPIRATIONS, published by Balboa Press, a subsidiary of Hay House. The author guides us in the beautiful Australian nature like Alice in Wonderland, through stunning photographs of orbs and other creatures, which seem to merge and dance with flowers and all kinds of vegetation. The author tells her biography in an essential way, leaving space for poems, reflections, anecdotes, quotations that enhance and illuminate the silent and bright peace that emanates from the book. Really worth a look, get it in Italian (not hard, I can help) and it does not matter if you do not know English well because you will enter in any case into a magical and rarefied atmosphere that will make you forget the world. A quote from Lexene that is well suited to her and to her work: "I'm not strange, weird, off, nor crazy, my reality is just different from yours" - Lewis Carrol A wonderful book, do not hold yourself back, go get! ! Excerpt:
And I have felt, A presence that disturbs me with the joy, Of elevated thoughts; a sense sublime, Of something far more deeply interfused, Whose dwelling is the light of setting suns, And the round ocean and the living air, And the blue sky, and in the mind of man; A motion and a spirit, that impels, All thinking things, all objects of all thought, And rolls through all things." William Wordsworth 'Tintern Abbey' 1798 |
