The Northern Territory of Australia has native cycads, slow growing, with the trunk extending underground. I often take photos of their bracts as they display their various colours and appeal, while unfurling.
This day the raindrops, the colours of the cycad and the gumnuts, fallen from the branches of a Eucalypt tree, called for a photograph. Natures art there again displaying. One only has to stop for a moment to appreciate the life all around us.
