Native Moonflower

Many of my photographs are taken at night or in the evenings.

As I walked our property in the evening taking photographs randomly, in order to capture an orb in the images, I found many other wonderful sights provided by nature, that were hidden by the darkness until my camera flash uncovered them.
These are images of a moonflower with petals unfurling. It is a flower that I discovered  only after many years living at our property, as it blooms in the evenings and through the night.  It's white petals are so delicate that they wilt even under the light of a torch.

I love to connect with nature and have taken many nature photographs over the years.

I will be sharing here some nature photographs, many of them native to the Northern Territory, Australia.
