As I Sleep I Dream

As I sleep I dream of seas and sounds,
signs and sailors; of ships ashore.
I dream of love and light
and the winds of change.

I dream the dreaming,
the whole, the host in my heart;
the men, the many, the women and all
the freedom of signs of life in dreaming,
all blossoming rivers to see mind grow.
